It's nice to hear you are making progress with the new/old album "Beyond All Sense". I own your four latest albums and I love them all (thank you Stefan for sending me "Atomic Winter" and "Nothing Left to Fear". They're both great. I LOVE NLTF! But Atomic Winter is great as well). I have listened to them both probably a hundred times or more. I have a cassette in my car with these to albums and they just keeps spinning, together with Rush and Black Sabbath.
It's intresting to hear about Kristoffer's changes on the lyrics and vocals on the new album. Hopefully I have the original album to compare with when you release this new version, but it's hard to find and it was obviously never released on CD. But I'll keep searching for it.

Once again I want to comment on the music of Destiny. They are truly the best band in Gothenburg right now, and one of the
best metal bands on Earth at the moment, if not THE best! I have their latest two albums. “The Undiscovered Country” (1998) is
a really great album. One of a dozen highpoints is the choruses in “Tomorrow is Yesterday”. For some reason it remainds me of
the jazzy “Clear Air Turbulence” album by Ian Gillan Band in 1977. “The Undiscovered Country” is not jazzy in any way but it’s
obvious they get heir influences from many directions. “The Undiscovered Country” is hard, heavy, a bit progressive, and very well written and put together.
None the less, it’s not even close to being as good as “Future of the Past”. The drummer, Birger Löfman, is one of the best
I’ve heard in heavy metal music. In some ways he reminds me of Neil Peart in Rush. Neil NEVER repeats himself, there is always
something new happening, and the same seems to be the case with Birger Löfman. But Löfman is way heavier than Peart, he’s like
an intersection (is this the right world?) between Niel Peart and (rest in peace) Cozy Powell.
The singer, Kristoffer Göbel, has a voice that is both strong and fateful. It sends shivers down my spine every time I hear
him sing. The fact he’s about two meters, have long blond hair and is well built doesn’t make it worse in any meaning. Where
did they found him? In a super chamber?
The wild and rough guitar playing reminds me of the Motörheadish “damn-it” spirit (does that make ANY sence? Hope so!).
This incarnation is probably the best ever of Destiny, but the biggest star in this band is and will always be Stefan
Björnshög. He’s been able to keep the spirit of Destiny alive for twentytwo years so far, despite the fact that he’s the only
founding member. Destiny lives on and I look forward to their next releases.
Unfortenatelitly I couldn’t make it to their consert in Borås lately, but hopefully I will see them in Gothenburg at he end of
July at the “Metal Meet Festival”.
By the way; does anyone know where or if I can find Destiny’s three first albums on CD?

Bought their new album today. Have listened to it twice so far. It's GREAT! Classic heavy metal, but not retro. Heavy riffs, especially on the refrain on Sabotage. Cool refrain on Ghost Train with the choruses. But the best track is by far Future of the Past. But everything is great and more songs will most likely get stuck very soon.
Destiny has got themselves at least one new fan from this album (me). Hopefully there will be a lot of new fans all around the World.
If you like classic heavy metal, this is the band to check out. If you don't, you won't know what you're missing.

tribute web-site; Not Fragile was a fantastic album. I like many different
styles of music; Heavy Metal, Hard Rock and Electric Blues. I plan on
checking out your band next time I am in my local record store (Newport
Beach, California USA). Years back we had a cool radio station KNAC
in L.A. that use to play mostly Heavy Metal & Hard Rock; Black Sabbath,
AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Metallica, Van Hallen, Corrosion of Conformity,
Soundgarden et cetera... Sounds like you would have fit in just fine.
Today, radio in L.A. sucks. It is hard to know what rocking bands exist
today. Your web-site is real cool and it is a good way to let the people
know that you are out there. You may want to provide a web-link to band
called Upper Crust. They satirize high society and decadence of the
rich, but they Rock so it is cool, kind of like AC/DC. Their fans might

Jag var inne i en skivaffär och fick se en skiva med orkestern Destiny.
Jag köpte den på vinst och förlust och begav mig hemåt för att lyssna.
När jag hade spelat den åtta gånger rakt igenom på mycket hög volym,
kom min arga granne in till mig och kastade ut min stereoförstärkare
genom fönstret. Jag tyckte att det var ett egendomligt beteende, men
detta faktum att delar av anläggningen ligger i spillror på gräsmattan,
förhindrar mig för tillfället från att kunna lyssna på skivan. Jag undrar
därför om orkestern skulle kunna tänka sig att spela lite "live" om
man säger så, på min tomt. Jag tror att även grannen skulle uppskatta
en sådan fin gest.
