Om jag trodde på en högre makt hade jag nog fått för mig att det var Destiny som styrde mig ut i vinterkylan den där kusliga kvällen i mitten på 80-talet, på jakt efter min mamma som hade kört av vägen. Sedan dess har Göteborgsgängets mörka klassiska metal fortsatt att skapa en kuslig stämning. Det finns något hotfullt över Destiny, en föraning om att något fasansfullt väntar bakom hörnet.
En del av ropen i bakgrunden är förvisso som tagna ur en b-skräckis, fast oftast blir man rädd på riktigt.

If I believed in a higher power I might have believed that it was Destiny that guided me out into the cold winter that gruesome night in the mid 80s, looking for my mother who had run her car off the road. Since then the Gothenburg band’s dark classic metal has continued to create an eerie atmosphere. There is something threatening about Destiny, a premonition of something horrible waiting around the corner. Some of the cries in the background certainly sound like the soundtrack to a scary b-movie, but more often than not you really do get frightened.
