Destiny's last record, Atomic Winter, is one of the highlights of Swedish hard rock. But still things didn't go quite their way. Devastated? No, not Destiny. After a silence long as an eternity they're finally back again, now with an additional finish and finesse to their typical and atmospheric dark metal. Zenny Hansson has toned down the terrific yelling and now sounds more like Bruce Dickinson's half-brother. Gunnar Kindberg is a brilliant guitarist who handles the riffs as well as he handles the solos and the acoustic parts. The arrangements are also more ambitious, thoroughly gone through and striking than last time. Destiny should be able to reach a bigger audience with this record. But then they will of course also have to tour...

Destinys förra platta, Atomic Winter, är en av den svenska hårdrockens högtidsstunder. Men det ville sig ändå inte riktigt. Men knäckta? Nej, inte Destiny. Efter en evighetslång tystnad är dom till sist här igen. Nu med ytterligare finish och finess på sin typiska och stämningsfulla dark metal. Zenny Hansson har tonat ner illvrålen och låter nu mer som en halvbror till Bruce Dickinson. Gunnar Kindberg är en lysande gitarrist som fixar riffstaplarna lika snyggt som solona och de akustiska partierna. Sen sist är dessutom arrangemangen mer ambitiösa, genomarbetade och effektfulla. Destiny borde med den här plattan kunna nå ut till en större publik. Men då måste de förstås också turnera…
