| The Undiscovered Country UNRESTRAINED #6 This CD bounces off so many European influences and still manages to sound uncluttered and pretty cool. The opening track has pieces of Accept, Candlemass and Count Raven and it actually sounds good together. The guitarwork is full of melody, but finds to pound and shred at the same time. The bass and drums set a nice beat, but is overshadowed by Zenny Grams ability to sound likeUDO and then jump to Dan Fondelius or Mesiah Marcolini is exceptional. The doom element plays an important part in Destinyssound as well! While not the foundation, tracks can turn doomy, gothic and downright heavy at any given point in a song. This CD isgoing to appeal to crossover audience. If you like doom, power, gothic or traditional metal, this CD has a lit o bit o somethin for ya. Reviewed by AR - UNRESTRAINED #6 |
