Education: Self-taught. According to himself, he's probably just a
little bit too lazy to learn from a teacher. Started out at the age of
17, five years before really getting into it.
Influences: Tony Iommi, the god of heavy licks. Jon and Criss Oliva
of Savatage. Bassists such as Geddy Lee, Geezer Butler and Chris Squire.
Two Russians lurk in the background: the dark Piotr Tchaikowsky and Sergei
Prokofiev.
Values: Honesty and empathy.
Present favourites: Savatage, Megadeth, Metal Church, Rush, In Flames,
Budgie, Yes, BTO.
At the movies: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Highlander,
Lord Of The Rings.
